Just seven days before Srila Prabhupada left this world, Swami Trust’. he formed a trust named ‘Bhaktivedanta Swami Trust. Srila Prabhupada formed this trust for the purpose of dham. restoring the holy places in dham. So as part of that endeavour, one of the things we try to do is to locate the various places mentioned by Bhakti Vinod Thakur in his book ‘Navadwip Dham Mahatmya’ in the ‘Parikrama Khanda’. some of the young children who accompanied Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur in Navadwip Dham Parikrama, helped us in finding out these exact places. some of the places which have been found are Naimisaranya, Suryakund, Kurukshetra, Arka, Tila, Hamsavahan etc.
When Sukhdeva Goswami was Speaking Gaur Bhagavat in Navadwip, Lord Shiva came to know about it. He was so eager to hear Gaur Lila, that he immediately started on his bull carrier Nandi. However Nandi being a bull was not so fast, so as Shiva reached Satyaloka he stopped over and asked Lord Brahma to give his swan carrier and he left Nandi there. Lord Shiva came here on a Swan carrier and the place is known as Hamsavahan.

Once the deity was stolen by thief so the Police told that you have to keep the deity out of water otherwise they would not take up responsibility for its protection.
